This table is a reproduction of a Portsmouth New Hampshire dressing table from around 1820.

The primary wood is mahogany with curly maple banding and an inlay of holly and ebony.  Secondary wood is white pine.

All surfaces are hand planed.

The finish is hand rubbed shellac.
